In January 2026, Epson officially launched the XP-980 A3 multifunction inkjet printer in Europe and North America, targeting the home photo printing market.

The XP-980 combines printing, scanning, and copying in one device, delivering a high resolution of 5760 × 1440 dpi. With ISO print speeds of 8.5 ppm (black) and 8 ppm (color), a widened body design, and an upgraded 4.3-inch touchscreen, it is well suited for photo output, creative printing, and daily home use.
